President Joyce Banda speaks strongly on investing in agriculture
President Dr. Joyce Banda on Tuesday said her Government will continue with the fertilizer subsidy programme and also strengthen farming clubs as one way of improving agriculture in the country once voted into power. Banda said this at Nkhwazi Admarc football ground in Mchinji District after switching on rural electricity at Nkhwazi Health center. She said agriculture is the economic backbone of the country and promoting it is good for the people.
